It’s taken me a while to get round to doing this but I promise these next blog posts will be worth the wait!

I met this INCREDIBLE human being a few months ago when she came to my studio for a maternity photoshoot. Now, I hear some amazing stories in the studio – I meet people at one of the most vulnerable times of their lives and it is so incredibly special. I remember everyone and I hold on to all of your stories as they are such a gift.

This beautiful soul came and immediately just trusted me to capture such a special moment. Her journey to parenthood is incredibly powerful, having recovered from breast cancer and all of the fertility trials that come with it. She sent me the following words to share with you all:

“Cancer has shaped my future since 2018, and it has defined our journey to parenthood. After 5 miscarriages and 2 failed IVF embryo transfers our last miracle embryo is growing at 24wks.

I’m 5 years cancer free.

My body has been through so much physically, mentally and emotionally, but pregnancy has been the biggest blessing, and nothing makes me more grateful.

To capture it all in one image is pretty special. I had cancer, cancer never had me.”
