From the moment you book, I take care of everything.
You'll receive a welcome guide packed with outfit inspiration, wardrobe tips, what to bring and exactly what to expect - so by the time your session arrives, you'll feel completely prepared and excited rather than nervous.
I'll also send a short questionnaire so I can get to know you and your family before we meet. The more I know about you, the more personal your session will feel - and the better your images will be.
From then on, consider me your photographer, stylist and cheerleader all in one.
Whether we're spending a slow, unhurried morning in the studio or chasing golden light together, I'll guide you through every moment.
You won't need to know how to pose, what to wear or what to do with your hands. That's all on me.

This is what it feels like to book with me..
1-2 weeks later, you'll see your gallery! Either receive your photos digitally or come back in for your personal viewing appointment to choose the package that’s perfect for you, your home and budget. Together, over a glass of fizz, we'll choose your photos and look through a beautiful range of products, should you wish to, so you can choose exactly how you'd like to keep your memories.

A relaxed photoshoot with me at my natural light studio on the outskirts of York. The difference between me and other photographers is that I only capture one family per day, which means there is never any rushing and no clock-watching. The perfect way to capture you and yours. I'll guide you through everything.

THE PROCESS
THE STUDIO
My studio just outside York has been designed with exactly one thing in mind.. making you feel completely at home from the moment you walk through the door.
There are outfits and props for your little one, snacks and drinks for everyone, wooden toys to keep older siblings happy, and a proper comfortable space for you to sit, breathe and actually relax. Nappies, wipes, the lot - if you've forgotten it, I've probably got it.
Between the scans, appointments, health visitors and the general beautiful chaos of having a new baby, consider this your escape.
Phone down, gentle music on, a hot cup of tea in your hands - and nothing to do except soak up your family while I capture it all for you.

After your session, you have the option to arrange your personal viewing appointment, where you'll experience your images for the very first time.

THEY RUN THE SHOW
Whether you're bringing your newborn, toddler or older kiddo, they run the show. If they need feeding, cuddling, burping, or a full dramatic protest about life - we pause. There will never be a rush here.
WE DON'T DO AWKWARD
You don’t need to know how to pose. That’s my job. All you need to do is show up ready to have a gorgeous old time and to drink lots of tea. I’ll guide you into natural, comfortable poses so you can focus on cuddling your baby.
REAL LIFE IS WELCOME HERE
Babies cry, toddlers wander, someone WILL need a snack. None of it phases me - I have two girls, one of which is a redhead with the personality to match it. Between than and shooting hundreds of families, I have seen it all before, in abundance. You cannot shock me.. Feel free to try though!
CONNECTION OVER EVERYTHING
I put everything in to making you and your family feel at home with me, people often say it was like catching up with an old friend or going on a play date. That is the energy we're bringing. Easy, relaxed, comfortable and fun.
