I'm a York-based newborn, maternity and family photographer. I work with parents who value natural light imagery, meaningful experiences, and photographs that feel as beautiful years from now as they do today.
I am so, so passionate about empowering Mothers because there is NOTHING that compares to it. We are strong, we are incredible and we really can do anything - we made eyelashes and a heart for crying out loud!
My relaxing studio offers a sanctuary for pre- and post-natal families; a peaceful, calming home with soft music and natural lighting with all the tea and biscuits you could ask for.
I offer a safe, comfortable and non-judgmental space that allows you to sit and simply enjoy the moment, which we often forget to do with life taking over, whilst I snap away in the background.

I am Mum to two rainbow babies. I understand the crazy, incredible journey that you are on and I capture moments EXACTLY how I would want to look back at my own.
I'm married to my best friend, we met in 2012, and I couldn't be more inspired by the man that he is and the parent that he has become. We've both grown and changed together, traveled together and become parents together and it's been the most incredible journey.
We're a family of 5 - two baby girls and our labradoodle! As gorgeously (biased, I know) pictured to the left whilst also proving that I only capture photos of your family that I would want of my own babies..
I'm a lover of neutral tones, cosy knits and a cup of tea but I'm also here for the deep, golden hour tones of summer sunrises and sunsets.
I am a runner.. yes, yes, I know.. what can I say - it's my therapy and I'm addicted.
I'm a cheerleader to all. If you need encouragement for anything, I'm ya gal..
My studio is a place for you to escape from all the chaos and noise from the outside - I escape there with you to create gorgeous memories of your family for you to treasure for a lifetime.

Even our son who is often nervous around people he’s less familiar with was instantly engaged and getting involved. Lucy provides a safe space in her studio for the vulnerabilities of parenthood, going above and beyond providing every possible item of clothing or baby equipment you could think of, in case it’s required on the day. "This was so much more than a photo shoot."
"This was so much more that a photo shoot. Having organised a date, I was nervous to leave the house after only six days of having Arthur. I was a new mum filled with anxiety and not feeling comfortable or confident in my body so although I was so excited for the photos there were some big firsts to overcome. Lucy answered all of my questions and reassured me the week leading up to the day. It was like talking to an old friend and the support and kindness was overwhelming.
Lucy’s studio is at her home which is beautifully decorated and has EVERYTHING you need to feel comfortable. I wasn’t confident feeding yet and Lucy was quick to pick up on this and made me feel comfortable with cushions, snacks, blankets and a cozy sofa. I felt instantly at ease as did our new baby. I didn’t once feel rushed and Lucy did everything at our pace. This lead to us having a wonderful organic experience as a new family which has not just given us some beautiful photographs but also a fun relaxed experience.
We were blown away by the pictures which we received so quickly. I can’t thank Lucy enough for this experience, it gave me the confidence to leave the house for the first time, appreciate my new body as a new mum creating an unforgettably special moment with my new family.
